Dr.Silvia Grossi-Stone D.V.M.
Dr. Silvia Grossi-Stone was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina where she initially lived until the age of 3. Her family moved to California in 1963, with hopes and plans for more opportunities. Her father was able to successfully own and operate a foreign auto electric repair business in Hollywood for 10 years. However, he yearned for his country, so in 1973 the family moved back to Buenos Aires. While living in Argentina, Dr Silvia attended veterinary school, graduating with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1984 from the University of Buenos Aires, College of Veterinary Sciences. By the year 1983, her family had again relocated to the USA establishing another business in Denver, CO. After graduating from vet school in 1984, Dr Silvia joined her family and moved to Colorado. There she started the long process of obtaining her US veterinary credentials. Dr Silvia completed a one year internship, required as part of the foreign veterinary licensing process, in a wonderful small animal and equine general practice. She obtained her US National Veterinary Accreditation in 1986 in the states of California and Washington. Dr Silvia met her husband Bryan, in Golden CO, where he attended Colorado School of Mines. They were married that same year, but soon moved to Seattle, WA after Bryan was hired by an environmental consulting company. She worked in Seattle at a large multi-doctor practice for many years, but with the demands of her growing family of 4 children, Dr. Silvia decided to branch out on her own to start a much needed service in the Seattle area, which would give Bryan and her more flexibility to raise their family. A housecall practice called Mukilteo Mobile Veterinary Services was born. She owned and operated this practice until relocating again in 2002, due to another job transfer of her husband to Southern California. Here in SoCal, she worked at a local vet hospital for 4 years but decided the mobile practice was a much better fit and a huge need in the area. This time however, she wanted to provide more services on a mobile basis. She and Bryan purchased a La Boit Sprinter mobile clinic in 2008 and Dr Silvia's Mobile Veterinary Clinic opened for service in Orange County.
The practice was incorporated in 2010 with the name Simply Housecalls, Inc.
