Emergencies
Most serious medical emergencies will need to be seen at your local veterinary clinic or emergency critical care hospital.
Daytime emergencies:
Dr. Silvia can determine if we can treat your pet or where to go if we are not able to. We can provide medical transport for your pet to and from the above mentioned facilities.
These are a few examples of emergencies that require immediate attention:
- difficulty breathing
- collapse
- seizures
- pale mucous membranes
- bleeding profusely
- suspected poisoning
- severe vomiting or bloody diarrhea
- snake bite
- hives that cause swelling of the eyes and face
- severe painful lameness
- inability to walk
